Go Big Read!

Go Big Read content has been added to the Toolkit! Just go to the Go Big Read tab and select the content box that best suits your need. Thanks to Karen Dunn for creating this new content!

LibGuides Update Dec 30, 2008

LibGuides put some changes into place recently. The main difference for creators of research guides is the addition of a new "Command Bar". This repositions some familiar tools - add/edit pages, guide settings, etc. New tools have also been added - flip profile position, adjust column size on the page, etc.

Research Guides beta

The LWS Research Guides page (http://www.library.wisc.edu/research-guides/) now includes a link to the campus-wide research guide discovery tool. With this tool (http://www.library.wisc.edu/research-guides-beta/) you are able to:

• Find by Subject
• Find by Name
• Find by Tag
• Search - - coming later
  

Guides developed in LibGuides will be added to this discovery tool automatically. In cases where a guide is converted to LibGuides, old links will be updated.

Take a moment to explore how your guides are being listed and keep this interface in mind when assigning subject categories and tags.

LibGuides Outage 8/15/08

The LibGuides servers will be upgraded next Friday, August 15. You will not be able to create any new content or edit existing content on Friday. Also, guides created in LibGuides will not be available to patrons/visitors between 2-4pm (CT) that day.
